Tara was an Indian soap opera that aired on Zee TV channel, based on the trials and tribulations, happiness and sorrow of the main character, Tara. The series was known for its first ever contemporary Indian soap on women, and was the first Hindi language drama series that ran the longest of about 5 years.[1] Besides focusing on the life of Tara, the series also revolves around the life of Tara's three other friends who study together in college who are very close to each other but they all have different personalities. We witness the path of their lives and the complex situations they go through.
